“I will forever be grateful to BRIDGEGOOD for extending their hand to me and accepting me as an Integration Strategist to complete my practicum hours for my Master of Public Health (MPH) program. From the moment I began my internship, I was supported by the amazing team led by Shaun Tai and Elisa Feng. They gave me the guidance and encouragement I needed to succeed, and they made me feel like a part of the BRIDGEGOOD family from day one.
During my internship, I was assigned multiple community-benefit projects that challenged me to use my skills in creative and innovative ways. The experience was beyond memorable, and I am proud to have successfully contributed to BRIDGEGOOD’s mission while also becoming more involved with the creative, tech, and nonprofit community in the process.
Through BRIDGEGOOD, I was able to find a footing within the community, step out of my academic comfort zone, and discover the power of visual design and its impact on public health. This experience has reminded me that actions can extend far beyond oneself in the public health and visual design worlds, and that we all have the power to make a positive change in the world,” says Jemena Tabayoyong.
