BRIDGEGOOD Selected as a 2024 Tech Equity Collective Impact Fund Grantee

BRIDGEGOOD, a pioneering not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing access, professional opportunities, and tech literacy to under-resourced students and job seekers of color, is thrilled to announce its selection as a 2024 Tech Equity Collective Impact Fund Grantee.

The Tech Equity Collective (TEC) Impact Fund, a $1 million commitment by Google, aims to bolster organizations driving equity in the tech industry. BRIDGEGOOD is among the 20 organizations chosen for their dedication to creating a more inclusive tech ecosystem through reskilling, upskilling, and training programs.

“We are incredibly humbled and honored to be recognized by the Tech Equity Collective as a recipient of the 2024 Impact Fund,” said Shaun Tai, Executive Director at BRIDGEGOOD. “This support validates our mission and will enable us to expand our Design For Social Good movement, empowering Black creatives and student designers to jumpstart meaningful tech careers.”

The TEC Impact Fund provides BRIDGEGOOD with non-dilutive financial support of $50,000 to enhance initiatives and upskill emerging technical talent from underrepresented communities. Additionally, BRIDGEGOOD will benefit from organizational development programming, including monthly virtual seminars led by industry thought leaders and practitioners, to accelerate growth and sustainability.
