PayPal x BRIDGEGOOD

BRIDGEGOOD participated in the PayPal Community Impact Grant Fair, nominated by Bedford Williamson, a Senior Engineer at PayPal and BRIDGEGOOD Ambassador.

“I am extremely proud of the training provided by BRIDGEGOOD. Their dedication to fostering excellence is unparalleled. My personal journey and first paid job was with this wonderful nonprofit organization,” says Bedford Williamson, Senior Engineer at PayPal.

The event aimed to support local communities and expand economic opportunity, aligning perfectly with BRIDGEGOOD’s mission of providing economic mobility and opportunity to over 15,000 students since 2009.

PayPal employees worldwide vote to select local charities aligned with the company’s mission of creating economic opportunity and improving financial health. BRIDGEGOOD engaged with PayPal designers, recruiting them to volunteer as UX Design Apprenticeship educators and coaches, fostering community both within and outside the company.

“Through our partnership with PayPal, BRIDGEGOOD continues to exemplify our core values of inclusion, innovation, collaboration, and wellness. Together, we’re not just building bridges; we’re forging pathways of empowerment, creativity, and opportunity for our communities,” says Shaun Tai, Executive Director at BRIDGEGOOD.

Looking ahead, BRIDGEGOOD is excited to expand our partnership and invites tech and design professionals interested in becoming coaches or educators to sign up at https://mentors.bridgegood.org or donate at https://bridgegood.org/donate
